I was up all night last night, coming out of both ends (sorry, TMI). I have managed to keep down a little bit of gingerale and some tea (really no more than a few sips of both). I am 9w2d and need some advice. I can feel a fever kicking in; I'm getting hotter. What can I take, if anything, OTC?

Paraceatemol is tylenol!
Fevers aren't all bad, if you don't let it get too high... I have seen a number of natural treatments including cool baths but can't think of many.
I would hold off on the tylenol until you are in the danger zone, which I *think* is beyond 100-101. Fever helps fight the illness.
Lots of clear liquid is also good. Coconut water is nature's gatorade.

I am so sorry you are going through that while pregnant. I had a horrible bought of that about 10 years ago and it was miserable. I can't imagine dealing with it while pregnant.
I think your main goal needs to be staying hydrated. If you are super nauseated you might try a sports bottle/sippy cup/or even a baby bottle filled with your fluid of choice and just let it trickle into your mouth. Sometimes just swallowing a mouthful of liquid when you are feeling like that is enough to make you vomit.
Most ginger ales today don't actually have ginger in it which is what is good for soothing your stomach. Making your own ginger tea with slices of ginger root would probably be better and more soothing.
As a PP said it would be better to wait until your fever is up to 100-101 before taking tylenol so the fever could fight off the infection better but if it's preventing you from sleeping take the tylenol. If you can't swallow the pills, they have those new meltaway strips for kids, that would probably have a better chance of getting in your system before you emptied your stomach again.
I hope you are feeling better soon!

Hugs! It is awful right? I went through this at this point with baby number 2 and the one I am carrying now. And I'm just getting over yet another at just shy of 24 weeks.
IT STINKS! Just watch how dehydrated you get and if you feel it is getting bad, go to the ER for some fluids.
Hang in there!
