hi all! we need to move soon and i would love to start an in home daycare. ive been working as a preschool teacher for a long long time, and im hoping this could provide me with a way to stay home with my kids. we need to get some money together first though and im trying to plan for how much we will need to supplement our income as im trying to find enrollments. about how long should i plan to save for? ill need 3-4 kids enrolled before we are on solid ground financially. would 6 months be enough time, or should i try and plan for a full year? i hope this post is making sense, lol. dh does not make much money, so the reduced income during this time would mean we would likely need to take out a loan or find some sort of grant. thanks so much for the input. i have searched the forum as well but there are so many posts to wade through i was having a hard time finding what i need!
