I Made A New Web Site - Can Anyone Give Me Feedback?

Hello everyone - I just spent the last month or so working on this Web site that I finally got up about 15 minutes ago!


Basically, in the last 2 years, 3 of my friends have been diagnosed with breast cancer and my mother got hit really bad with breast cancer in 1985 so breast cancer is really personal to me. I have wanted to do something about all these feelings I have about the disease and I came up with this Web site

I was hoping I can have real people take a look and tell me honestly what they think, especially any opinions on things to change or do different, or if something does not look right, etc.

I already know my header is kind of plain and ugly so I am going to work on that

I really appreciate it any comments - it will help me do something about this disease in my own little way. Thanks a ton everyone! I found this forum when I was looking for a place to find support during my pregnancy when I found out I was going to have a special needs child - I am really excited about this section here, because I just made the decision during my pregnancy that i was going to work from home so I can care for my baby and connecting with other mothers doing the same thing is really helpful for me.

Thanks again and happy Sunday everyone - we have a new tradition now on Sundays it is "Craft Sunday" and I saw this forum has a special section for that, so EXCITING!

Hi Spunky & Welcome to the MDC boards & WAHM Well! I've seen you jumping in & helping others (including me on another WAHM ? --thank you!). I also have sp needs children, too, so will probably see you on the SN boards as well

I think it's wonderful that you want to spread awareness of Breast Cancer & have started this site. I like how clean & organized it looks. My critique would be in two areas: the "click button" seems a bit blurry to me --the text, and maybe my screen is too small, but the text below that explains clicking the buttons gets cut off on the side (I have an 11" screen & it's a Mac, if that helps). The other thing is, I would somehow re-word being reimbursed for the mailing costs/Paypal fees or see how it could maybe be made a non-profit through Paypal, then I think there aren't any assoc fees?? --but am not positive about that though.

I also like how you people can put a widget on a site, can't remember if you also mention that it can also be placed onto blogs.
