Never had braxton hicks contractions?

I never had these with my son.
I am only 28 weeks and a few days now - but have yet to have any this time around either.

Anyone else never get them?

Is that normal? lol

I can't speak for normalcy, but I've never had any BH contractions, either. None in my first two pregnancies, and none in this one yet (30 weeks).

never felt one with DD. I think I *may* have felt one or two this time around, but I'm really not sure. BTW, you are having them, you just can't feel them.

I got a ton in my last pregnancy, starting around 20wks but then never made any changes to my cervix and my labor was only 6 hours long. I like to think that it was "toning" up my uterus to shoot that baby out in no time

I am 19 weeks pregnant with #2 right now and iI have been feeling them for a few weeks. My OB is keeping an eye on them but I feel them several times per day.

I never felt any, although I suppose my uterus was all toned up because I have a 5 hour labor with DD! Having had the real deal, I guess I'm glad I didn't get a random practice one in the weeks leading up to labor.

Never had any with first pregnancy. Had them about a two weekends ago on a day where I pushed myself too hard and didn't drink enough water, but that was the first time this pregnancy (32 weeks?).

Never had them w/ my 1st. Started having them this pregnancy at around 12 weeks (twin pregnancy). Be glad! They can hurt!

This could be true...I was't feeling the real contractions either when I went into labour with my DS. (of course - by 6-7cm I was in for a section...so I don't know how it might have been after that!)....

Am so looking forward to the home birth of this baby! I can't wait!

I never had any with my first son, but I did have them with this pregnancy.

I never noticed any during my first pregnancy. I didn't have any noticable bh with #2 til about 37weeks, then I contracted nearly every day for several hours at a time. He was born at 41.5weeks. I've been experiencing them since about 28weeks this time around. I think you notice them, or they are stronger the more pregnancies you have.

2 normal, healthym, uneventful PGs, never had any BH.

With both PG, I never had any PG symptoms (other than a slight food aversion in the beginning, and fatigue in the first trimester with DD2 but i had a toddler to chase around at that time), no complications, etc.

I apparently efface and dilate for a month or so before labor really begins. I make it to 100% effaced and 4-5 cms dilated without ever feeling a thing. Seriously, not even a twinge, no cramping, etc. But when the water breaks, look OUT! That baby is coming, and FAST! I've had 2 babies, and have been in labor less than 3 hours, total.

Never had any with my first. Asked my midwife about it and she said it was quite possible to never feel a BH contraction and not to worry about it.
