Severe Psoriasis in a LO

A lady I know has a grandson that was pretty much born with psoriasis. It is very severe and is causing him and his family much pain. Doctors have basically told them that they have done all they can, and suffering is to be expected. The child is up all night scratching. His mother stays up to try to keep him from it, and his father works with him through the day. He has gotten to the point several times recently that they have had to take him to the hospital. I feel horrible for her. My DD1 has intrinsic eczema, and I know how awful that can be, and it isn't anywhere near as bad as what they are dealing with.
So, she doesn't have internet nor does his parents. The doctors have cleared them to try whatever they want that might help, and they are searching. I want to find some things to print off for her natural health wise. If anyone has any websites or suggestions, I would love to pass them on to her. Thanks so much.

Jojoba and Tea Tree Oil

I have battled with psoriasis my whole life, so I have tried just about everything natural out there. I found that the thing that relieved me the most was pure jojoba oil with a little tea tree oil added. It relieved the discomfort more than anything else I have tried.

Stress can also be a major trigger to worsen Psoriasis. This can be difficult, because the worse the Psoriasis gets, the more stressed out you get about it, which can become a bit of a downward cycle if the stress is not addressed. It can be a very difficult, uncomfortable, and embarrassing condition to live with, and I feel for anyone having to go through it. Fortunately, it typically happens in "outbreaks", so every once in a while, you do get a little break!

How old is the child? Are they sure it is psoriasis? The very first thing I would be looking at is allergy...

Otherwise I have found some great oils and creams for psoriasis (DH has it) - what have they tried?
