GSE for baby yuck?

Hi mamas!

I am wanting to treat oral thrush in my 10mo, but I am worried that he will find it disgusting and purse his lips at any further application attempts. I tried it myself, and it is pretty bitter. I certainly wouldn't want hourly applications in my cheeks. I'm putting 10 drops per ounce of water.

Any suggestions to make it more palatable?

Thanks!!!

Hi mamas,
No replies, so I thought maybe i asked the question wrong.
Am I making the gse too strong? How do you get your baby to not hate it?

Not sure there is any way to make it palatable I took it myself for yeast and it is nasty bitter. You could always start with a more dilute solution first and see if that does the trick. . .but it may just have to be yucky.

Sorry to not be of more help. .. maybe someone else will have ideas.

I have no idea how to make it more palatable, I thought it tasted absolutely horrible. However, when we had thrush at 11.5 mo, DD LOVED it. She would suck it off the end of a q-tip like it was candy. And she wasn't exactly an experimental eater at that age. You just never know.

Woah! She sucked it off the q-tip? Okay, maybe I'll have to at least try it.
any other ideas in case it isn't well received?
