I am looking to expose my two kids to chicken pox. If anyone close to Sacramento has it and would be willing to have us over for a play date, please send me a message.

Thanks!

I don't have any chicken pox for you, but I have been thinking about this for my two kids. Not sure what age to do it at though. They are 4.5 and 2.5 and I have another due in August. I'm thinking of waiting till the new babe is 2 and then exposing all three kids, though what if I have another? What ages are your kids?

18 months later -- what happened?

My 4 year old daughter is starting K in a week and I'm getting pressure from the school to prove immunity before she starts.

This is the only vaccine we didn't get because the studies on exposure (95% effectiveness, immunity passed thru bf-ing to her children) seem to be so much better than the every-10-year vaccine +booster (80% effectiveness, no immunity for bf-ing to children).

Also in Sacramento area...

I never located any... my boys are 6.  We'd still like to get this taken care of... don't know if we've missed the "season" now that school has begun.
