Ok, so the only 'canning' I have ever done was making freezer jam. However, this year, I plan on having a much larger vegetable patch. We are slowly working on being self-reliant for all of our fruits/vegetables. So, to that end, I realize I need to learn to can.
What kind of pressure canner do you prefer? (This was also a question at the end of canning 2009 by another user.)
What book would be the best for my first purchase?
