16 months, # of teeth?

DD has four teeth, two on top, two on bottom. It's super cute, but I swear by this age DS already had molars. How many teeth does your toddler have?

My DD's molars erupted around 18 months, but they are called the "2-year molars," right? So I think it's well within the range of normal to not have them yet.

My 15 month old daughter has 12 teeth out and 2 almost out - four incisors on top, four incisors on bottom, two premolars on top, two premolars on bottom, and she's got two canines on the bottom clearly visible through the gums on the verge of emerging.

my 14 mo has four on top and 3 on the bottom - I think that stubborn 4th bottom one is actually coming out this week. So almost 8 teeth.

To the pp that asked about 2yr molars ... no the first set of molars usualy come in around 15ish months there are a 2nd set of molars that come in around 2yrs. There is a big variation in eruption patterns. My oldest 2 boys didnt get any teeth till they were 12 months and finished getting the last molars just before 3.

There are 20 baby teeth once they all come in. 10 on top 10 on bottom. 4 incisors - 2 canines - 4 molars on each arch.

Jack has his 8 incisors and 2 1st baby molars right now with 2 more molars coming at any time . He is 15 months

My 16 mo has 3 upper (2 middle and one secondary incisor) and the 4 middle on the bottom. It also looks like her bottom canines are coming in, which would explain why she's just the little bundle of delight that she is at the moment

My almost 16 month old has two on bottom, four on top (incisors) and one 1st molar just erupted on top and a canine on top that is almost erupted (I *swear* ONE of these days!).

So yeah, huge variation among our kiddos!

My 16 mo has her 8 front teeth (4 on top and 4 on bottom) and 4 molars.

DS is 17 months... He has all but two molars. Then we're done with baby teeth!

My dd (16mo) has 14 teeth. Her front 4 top & bottom, 4 molars, and her top canines are in now also. Her cousin who just turned 2 this month does not have that many though, she still only has 2 on bottom front.

At 15 months my DS (now 16 months) had the eight front teeth plus all his molars and three of his canines. He is now working on that last canine. His doctor said he's gotten his teeth relatively early though.

My DD is 15 mo. She has 12 teeth, 6 on top and 6 on bottom. We are still waiting for her cuspids and 2 year molars to come in.

The 2-year molars are a second set that come after the canines.

Yep, huge variation in kiddos. After the 4 canines work their way in, about 1/2 way there, we'll just be waiting on the 2 year molars. Lina's 17 months and has had everything but the canines since 15 months or so.

16 teeth by 16 months- which is all but 2 yr molars.

Wow - I'm amazed at the huge difference from child to child. Ds (15 mos) has 5, the same 5 he's had for 4 months now.

Yup, there is HUGE variation. I know someone with a 20 month old who still only has 3 teeth!

My DD (20 months) has the top 4 front and 2 botom front plus 4 molars. DD got her 4 molars plus 2 other teeth in the same week - THAT was fun

She's working on her "fangs" right now.
