Just as we get the reflux/colic under control she begins teething... at 9 weeks old!!!
She is really suffering.... too little to be distracted with toys, can't chew on things, etc.
I could not believe that she was teething, even though the symptoms were pointing to it. But I checked out her gums and sure enough, the bottom two center teeth are coming in. One is visible as a white line just below the gums, the other has a tiny sharp corner through already.
She's just so young I don't really know what to do. She's EBF and I worry about giving her things.
I am dead set against OTC drugs like tylenol and motrin.
As soon as we can get ourselves dug out of this snow we're heading to town to buy the following:
boiron camilia
teething tablets
kids rescue remedy
clove oil
allspice to make an allspice necklace
I'm also getting some horestail, comfrey root and oatstraw to make School of Natural Healing's Calc-Tea. Since she is so young I will drink it instead of giving it to her and hope that it gets through to help her.
I have an big piece of amber strung on a string that my older DD wore as decoration (she picked it out) I have heard of an amber teething necklace, but I don't know how this works.
Please... suggestions?
