Oatmeal Topper Ideas?

I'm in a rut with oatmeal. Most mornings, it's a shredded apple and cinnamon, sometimes a banana with nut butter.

Any suggestions about switching it up? What are your favorite things to stir into your oatmeal or oatbran. I'm intrigued by the idea of coconut milk, but haven't tried it yet ...

I usually do raspberries or blueberries (I usually get them frozen because it's cheaper and doesn't matter in oatmeal), ground flaxseed, cinnamon, and recently I've been adding small pieces of walnuts.

Then I top it off with some kind of non-dairy milk (most often unsweetened soymilk, but it can vary).

I haven't had oatmeal in awhile..since Ds despises it
My fave toppings:

A little maple syrup
walnuts
flax seeds
dried blueberries
dried apples/cinnamon
strawberries(frozen)
sunflower/pumpkin seeds
shredded unsweetened coconut
I also like to stir in jam occasionally

Brown sugar.

My favorite is my pina colada oatmeal. I cook my oats in coconut milk and water and top it up with some bits of shredded coconut, maple syrup and crushed pineapples...

I also like slivered almonds.
Dattes are also excellent. I chop them and put them in at the beginning of the cooking.
DD1 likes it with chocolate chips. I put them at the bottom of the bowl so she has to eat some of the oats to get to them :-)

I put frozen berries in mine. My SIL puts a scoop of frozen yogurt on top with some almonds. I tried with some banana "ice cream" that I made and it was pretty good.

After it cooks down and gets a little sticky, I add some sweet almond milk, raisins, and brown sugar. Yum!

I also have some mixed dried fruits that I will occasionally stir in with some crushed walnuts.

FIGS!
I got some dried figs and I put those in my oatmeal as it was cooking and it was delicious

(I also use cooked quinoa instead of oatmeal to)

Peaches and almond butter (I use homemade peach butter, which is peach puree cooked down to concentrate the flavor).

I haven't tried this yet, but a friend of mine loves to top her plain oatmeal with a fried egg and salt. She says it's delicious. I'm not so sure, but I thought I'd put it out there for something different to try.
