After 7 years Dd is on her 1st anti biotic. now what?

Dd is a pretty healthy kid but today we landed in the E/R for removal of an earring back out of her earlobe. the back actually went inside it was not skin growing over it or anything.
It was quite traumatic for her getting it out but now she is on an antibiotic called Augmentin.
Am I supposed to give pro biotics at the same time or wait until she is finished taking the meds?
Any other suggestions ?

You do probiotics during the antibiotics and for at least two weeks after the antibiotics (preferably at that two week point you switch to a probiotic that can recolonize).

You have to do the probiotic three hours after every single augmentin dose. Each antibiotic dose kills off all the good guys so you have to put them back each time. If the probiotic is too close to the antibiotic it will be killed hence the three hour wait.

We use culturelle and florastor during antibiotics. Florastor will survive antibiotics unlike any other probiotic. However, it's difficult to get ahold of in most areas without online ordering. If you can find something with s. boulardi in it that would be great. Culturelle is widely available and terrific with antibiotics--give it three hours after every single dose. Continue two weeks after you've finished the antibiotic. Then switch to a colonizing probiotic (acidophilus, bifidus, etc.).
