Mae - I keep thinking twins, and my mom keeps accidentally pluralizing (babies instead of baby).

We'll see!

I think I'm just using "maybe twins?" as an excuse for this belly I already have at 6 weeks.

So glad that your Dr is good with pushing back your "official" EDD. that will help alleviate some pressure. I'm sure they're less likely to induce over there, too, atleast, less so than here.
Even at the birth center where we plan to deliver, they have a strict 42 week limit. if I go past 42 weeks, i HAVE to go to the hospital. I guess that 14 days is just toooooooo risky. Ugh.

Yup, i'm pretty sure it's a boy. I've had like 8 boy dreams, maybe only 1 girl dream. Maybe it's just because at first I thought I'd not be as excited about a boy, and now I'm really starting to like the idea. who knows.

Yep, it makes me excited to meet her too! And kinda nervous at the same time. Maybe that is what is keeping her in there. I just feel like my life will change so much, I am enjoying the freedom I have right now!

Thanks, I am so happy they are not inducing yet either! They will check fluid levels on sunday or tuesday. Not sure, I think they check that once a week if it's normal... who knows, he seems to just believe that "nature" is the best way, it will tell us what to do, it will tell the baby when to come, etc. It's slightly odd and refreshing hearing this from an OBs mouth!!!

Well, MIL is here, it's definitely interesting dealing with her and the two year old she has. LOL. riiiiiight.... there goes my relaxing babymoon. LOL. I guess it's the price I pay for living overseas.

I would not be disappointed by two... but would prefer one. If we have twins, this is my last pregnancy if we have one then we will discuss having one more in the future (we already discussed having this discussion lol and what all it will entail.)

Dunno how much I posted about my gramma going to the hospital in here...

found out she has cancer. Not sure what kind, all Ive been told is it was found during her GI endoscopy (which was both upper and lower so there's no way for me to even guess where it was)

At this time they said they aren't going to do anything and go back in 3 months and check it out again

ETA - they removed polyps with a biopsy and tested them which is how they found out it was cancerous, they think they got it all so will not be doing anything about it.

Mae, I'm sorry hon.

I have to go into today for heart monitoring for 30 minutes. They do this every two days here after your EDD. It's kinda annoying, but eh. I have been having period pain almost in my lower pelvis every 10-26 minutes all night, a general feeling of constipation although I have pooped and blood in my discharge. Like pink discharge... hmmm.... I was hoping to hold out as my hubby is a huge saints fan so we will see! hahaha

Can't wait to get an update from you, Lauren! I hope if things didn't move too quickly, DH could get a TV in your hospital room to see the Saints win the SB!

AFM...

If DD gets up to pee in the wee morning hours, and wakes me, then I have to pee, and then I CANNOT fall back to sleep. At all. I get immediate fast brain and think about everything 100,000 times... "will we move before baby?, will we find a house we fit in?, what van will we buy?, will baby be healthy, what will he be like?... and so on and so on.

Got up and made some tea, and thought I'd try to relax NOT in bed. Only problem is DH's alarm will go off in an hour...

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Lauren!!!!!!!!!!!! What a fun thing to see! I hope hope hope you are holding your little one right now....!!!

Lis, I was awakned by my extremely heavy footed husband tromping all over the living room this morning... a good hour before I had to wake up. and I couldnt fall back to sleep either. But instead of getting up and doing anything, I just laid in bed grumpily. HA! Hope you get a full night's sleep tonight.

Lyndzies- how did the hospital visit go!?!? tell us your thoughts- do you think it's going to be a good fit for you and DW?

AFM, our appt on Friday went well. It took 2 MWs at least 10 minutes to find the HB, but the first doppler they used was so staticy, so maybe that's why. that, and the fact that babe was moving around so much they couldnt get him for long enough!
I had no idea how big my uterus already was, and it makes me kind of excited. I dont konw when I will "pop" but DH says he thinks I have a distinctive bump going on below my belly button. I keep telling him it's still just pudge. sad but true.

How is everyone else? weve been a bit quiet.. are we all just on pins and needles waiting for Lauren's baby girl?! I know I am!
