Does your baby drink from a cup/sippy cup? - Page 2

my almost 1 year old only likes open cups. We've mostly just helped him drink, but recently he's been enjoying drinking water himself out of a shot glass with a handle. Kind of messy, but he gets some in.

Sippys (especially the ones with the spill-proof valves) are believe to promote immature drinking patterns. I remembering reading quite a while ago that it could even be linked to speech delays in some cases.
I am sure more savvy mamas have links...

And they're as bad as bottles for tooth decay.
