1 bm in 4 days-- is this a problem???

dd is 6 mo, we started introducing solids (blw) a few weeks ago. she is otherwise ebf. she was never one of those exclusively breastfed babies that only pooped every couple days-- but now she's had only one little bm in the past 4 days. she is teething so i can't tell what discomfort may be what...

she's not ingesting a ton of food (and only fruits and veggies), so could it just be a normal decline?

That's pretty normal in my household. DD, also 6 months, has gone a week without pooping before. The end results are usually a blow out. She averages poops every 2-3 days. Our ped doesn't seem too concerned about it and it seems to be fairly normal.

Yup, it's normal. As soon as we started with solids, none of my ds's pooped for days on end... sometimes as many as 10 days passed! Then some days they would spend a whole day grunting and groaning to finally poop it out. Ds3 is now 9 mos and is a bit more regular than when we first started him on solids, but still it tends to be only once every few days.
