Nighttime potty training woes

Dd is now 4 years old and does pretty well during the day (very few accidents...). Our big 'problem' is night time. When we first stopped using training pants about 3 months ago, she was about 50/50 for dry vs wet nights. In the past 2 weeks, she has very rarely had a dry night. This is in the midst of waking her up every 4-5 hours and taking her to the potty. Dh works overnights, so this part of potty learning is all on me and we also have ds who is still night nursing. Short of putting her back in training pants, is there anything else I should be doing to encourage dry nights? Personally, I am okay with putting her back in training pants and trying again if there really is nothing else I can be doing, but we were doing pretty well for a couple of months so I'm hesitant to go back. Dh is also opposed to this idea, but I don't see it as feasible to get up every 2-3 hours to take dd to the potty, especially because it tends to wake ds up. I'm just at a loss as what to do next? TIA!

My daughter went back and forth on this for quite a while. We started letting her sleep without a diaper when she'd been dry for a week (without us getting her up to go to the toilet in the middle of the night).

After that, dryness at night came and went for about a year, depending mainly on how exhausted she was. We changed a LOT of wet sheets, and during many periods, my husband also took her to the toilet after she'd been asleep for about 2 hours (before he went to bed).

For what it's worth, I would not be carrying a child to the toilet more than once during the night, and certainly not if it meant I'd be getting up out of my own nice warm bed. I'd leave them in diapers until things were going a lot better than that.

Oh, and to give you some practical advice: several people I know have had good results with restricting liquids during the 2 hours before bedtime.
