Was the Threat of H1N1 Flu Exaggerated?

Quote:
The excess in many countries occurred partly because health officials initially thought the vaccine would require two doses instead of one, and many countries signed contracts with manufacturers under that assumption; it turned out that a single dose was enough to build immunity. But the main reason for the surplus is simply that demand for the vaccine fell far short of what was originally expected. Now, after governments have spent billions of dollars on vaccines that were not needed — France alone spent $1.25 billion — some politicians and health professionals are looking to hold someone accountable.

"WHO advised us falsely. They raised a false alarm," says Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, who served in Germany's parliament until September, faulting the U.N.'s global health agency for relying on an inadequate definition of a pandemic.
I can foresee this exact same headline about Circ/HIV in the near future too.

Totally, advise falsely of CIRC/HIV route because after all USA Circ Rate is more in USA than any other countries and we still have a higher number of HIV in circ'ed men than non-/rarely circ countries .

WHO caused unneccessarily panic attack and cost the goverment extra billions of vaxes go wasted not only that man people end up getting shots not even knowing if it will be effective or not .

Those people so scared of a death from a 20% chance of getting that flu bug and their kids should be afraid of putting their son's under a scalpel to get part of their penis hacked off because circ happens every single day to many boys in many hospitals across the hospital . Many proably do end up almost losing life due to blood loss it's like why risk it if you don't want to lose your son .

Circ deaths and damages you can prevent by not circ'ing . But even with many sickness that is floating around is something you may not be ableto prevent you know ? Even some you just have to ride out especially viruses that may seem to have the same sxs as flu bugs but then for some reason it's not the flu you know ?

Off topic note: My son ended up with a undiagnosis and misdiagnosis of his sickness doctors claimed it was a virus but it was a strep throat with ear infection for almost a week before he got on antibiotics even though his rapid strp test a was negative but didn't get tested until 6 days on his sickness. I had to see three doctors and the first 2 I ended up seeing saying he's acting normal but he just has that virus that is going around it's a 3 wk bug that will pass but will have coughs that will sound bad for 3-4 days but get better. Saying it comes with a fever before the coughs and even though they saw how swollen red my son's tonsils were they didn't swab them because he wasn't complaining of throat pain. They even felt his lymph nodes being really swollen but just said it's the virus doing it's job . Strep throat can disappear on its own but it's still risky of to be left untreated by causing possible scarlet fever, rhematic fever, and kidney issue. Plus you have the strep bacteria in the system close to your airway that's a great way to have the bacteria to spread to cause strep pnemonia .

So many times I just wonder why do people allow doctors to do stuff when many are not that very good besides letting kids suffer unneccessarily . Believe me that doctor ends up getting marked off my list for seeing because it just shows even when a kid had a fever is getting worse but acting normal can still have a bad bacteial illness without pain ! Why wait for pain or for fever to come back befor they treat it.

It's like I could just hear that doctor telling parents who circ if penis starts bleeding hold it down for 30 minutes if it don't stop from holding the cloth pressure on your son's pens then bring him in .

Thanks for sharing the link.
I'm not sure whether a similar announcement on circumcision will be made in our lifetimes. We're not talking about flu but about sexual health here so the issue at stake is a lot more sensitive.
