Herbal tea for babies & kids?

Reading about what some people have posted about nettle infusions and red raspberry leaf tea being good sources of minerals, made me wonder about making a "tea" for my kids.

In Germany where I am originally from it's very common to give babies herbal tea even as newborns. I grew up drinking herbal tea with all my meals as a kid. Wondering if I could try something like this with my kids and whether it might be good for them - any thoughts? I have a 10 month old and a 3 yr old. Today my baby girl came wandering by my night stand where I had a cup of cold tea sitting. She dipped her fist into it and sucked it. Guess she instinctually can tell what's good for her??....

I've offered both of my kids very simple herbal teas. Most haven't seemed to go over all that well, but those are typically ones I really want them to have (like something for a cold, sore throat, constipation, etc). My son really likes chamomile tea and often asks for it.

Herbal teas are absolutely good for babies/kids! I give DD nettle infusions, chamomile tea, red rasberry tea, she really loves cinnamon rooibos and hibiscus tea!!! Sometimes I will add a little raw honey(DD is 19 mos)too! I started DD drinking tea(tastes) at like 3 months
