My son is 21 months old and quite itchy. He occasionally gets a pink rash on his legs and cheeks, though it's not always present when he is itchy. The rash is fairly faint and definitely pink, though somewhat blotchy. It tends to come and go throughout the day, and some days he doesn't have any rash appear. It seems to happen the most in the winter. I used to think it was just dry skin, so we would apply lotion or Vaseline. But now his anus is itching too, so I'm just curious if it is all related. He actually knows the word, "itchy" and will complain that his anus is itchy and reach to try to scratch it. He uses the potty and we wipe him well. I don't see any signs of worms. There might be a slight pinkness around his anus, and just inside his anus is very pink. I don't know if that is normal or not. I hope someone here might have some advice!
