Brown discharge, cramping, red raspberry tea leaves?

Hi ladies, could do with some advice here.

I am on DPO 15 (I think) and got my first BFP 4 days ago (I said first because like most other ladies, I have tested several times since ).

Yesterday evening I started having dull cramps which concentrated mainly on the right side and later that evening I had brown discharge with some shredded string like substance (sorry TMI). It looks nothing like what I have with AF or implanation bleeding, the latter was a glob of red blood among EWCM.

So naturally I got worried. DH and I BD three days ago. Could it be the reason?

I was googling like a maniac last night found one entry where a lady said red raspberry leaves tea help stopped her spotting?

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Very little help here...but I know some people say to stay away from RRL tea until later in the pregnancy. I spotted early on with both pregnancies: days with this one; weeks with my first. I think that cramping on one side could be related to a corpus luteum cyst...but if your cervix is "friable" (sp?) it could cause spotting I would think.

Maybe call and talk to a midwife or nurse, just to get another view. Good luck!

RRL tea was associated with spotting in my pregnancy that I miscarried. I'd drink the tea, then I'd spot. I stayed away from it until the second trimester with this pregnancy (which also had some spotting in the first trimester--just a little bit--but is now at 23 weeks and going strong).
