low HcG levels

My doctor's office called back today and said my HcG levels were low so they want me to go get the retested next week. The nurse sounded like everything was fine and said b/c I'm so early in pregnancy (today was my missed period) that they could be low b/c of that. But I am freaking out now. Google has me convinced I'm going to miscarry. Has anyone else had low HcG and been fine?

I don't have any experience with this but I didn't want to not reply. It is still so early and at least the nurse did not sound concerned. I know that won't make you worry less though.

It's so tough to hear these things, but HcG levels are different from person to person, so it's really the change over time that matters. I wish you the best!

Mama, don't fret. My office said the same thing about my 11dpo levels. It was partly because they don't care when I Oed and thought I was further, and also because no one can be sure when implantation occurred...

HCG is only starts to be produced once the little bean starts implanting, so if you were a late implanter, that could totally explain low HCG levels this early.

Annnnnd, (as people told me in my thread about my beta... and as I already knew but now I'm a nervous mama) the actual number matters far less than the doubling time.
