Yep, that's Brandon too...day trained since he was 2, still in pullups at night and soaks them through every night. My 2 year old is day and night trained though. You just never know...

My daughter (no SN) will be four in february and has been potty trained since she was just over 2. She soaks through a diaper every night! A bit frustrating, yes, but normal. My son was potty trained day and night roughly at the same time (3). He only needed to pee once a night, so we would take him before we went to bed ourselves. My dd seems to pee throughout the night, multiple times, so there is no point getting her up to pee at one certain time.
BTW, my ds' friend (just turned 7) a very mature, smart, creative girl has never had a dry night diaper yet in her life. My friend is not worried.

I read in a recent edition Parent Magazine (someone gave me the subscription for it) that typical children even as old as 7 years old may wet their underwear at night. The signal that tells a child the bladder is full doesn't mature for some time. If it's normal for a typically developing child to wet their underpants at night then I don't see what the fuss is for a SN child.

My 7 & 9 YOs are in pull-ups at night. I tried every variation on cloth alternatives, but they just didn't make it. I just wanted to mention that nighttime enuresis can be considered a medical condition after age 4, and many medical insurances will pay for disposable pull-ups, chucks (either disposable or cloth), gloves, whatever else your doctor will prescribe.

really?! I wonder if I should bring this up to my daughters doc.. I'm all about free stuff Well when she is 4 that is.

ps: thanks to all of you for the reassurance that this is normal. I had never questioned it, until I was recently questioned about it (errg)
