sodium ascorbate only??

is this the vit c rec'd most only becase it is supposed to be easier on the tummy?

trying to think of a way to get some, but it is so pricey, plus then i'm wondering hoew to get it into lil guy especially

I do find SA to be easier on the tummy.

That's about 7 cents per 1000 mg.

When my son was smaller, I just mixed it in with his juice, yogurt, applesauce. Now he just drinks it mixed in water.

it is not only easier on the tummy, it is more bioavaliable to the body.

I get a huge tub of it (NOW brand) for about 40 bucks. it lasts FOREVER. It actually ends up being much cheaper than using vit c any other way.

I mix it with ricemilk and give it to my 21 month old

ds is not even 6 months old quite yet, and i still pump all his feeds, (ie he is exclusively breastmilk ed) but he's been ill for almost a month already and isn't even interested in drinking just breastmilk.
