I love Lost!! I watched the summary show and the show and loved them both!! I'm ready to talk - anyone else seen it yet?

I spent the last 2 weeks re-watching every episode on Netflix. I am so, so excited.

Last night was so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So does this mean that the "thing" has been taking shapes all this time of anyone that has died fooling even Ben when he was a boy luring him to the others from the beginning?

And is sayid himself or the thing? A good way for the thing to get inside the temple.

I am loving the story they have going when the plane doesn't crash. It makes all the people seem really nice.

I have to wait until 1pm to watch. I was sooooooooooooooo mad I couldn't watch it online last night. Just irate. Now I have to wait for dh to get home.

Is Sayid Jacob now??? if the smoke monster became Locke then isn't possible that Jacob can go into Sayid's body?

I goggled searched and google searched and finally found both parts on some streaming blog around 11pm. I was determined to watch it last night Words of wisdom from dh "thats what you get when you refuse to own a tv".



I don't think Sayid is the smoke monster. I think he was saved like Lock was (back in the pit of dead bodies) and like Ben. Maybe Sayid will become the next leader?

Exactly what I am wondering. And when the leader of the other in the temple said what was on the scroll, what was it. Something about their fate resting upon sayid become better right?

Yes. Which makes me wonder if Jacob is in him like the Smoke monster is in John Locke.

But what I want to know is the supposed story line (super imposed with the island action) about them NOT crashing at all on the island and what happens to them when they actually land. Juliet tells "it worked" thru Mel aFTER she dies. Is a split Universe created?

We found the common denominator for the passengers. They all had pathetic lives crashing on the island. But Locke was the only one who knew he had a pathetic life but wanted to stay on the island. All the other passengers had pathetic lives but wanted to go back to the mainland.

Was the Smoke Monster (all this time) looking for a body he could enter and he chose Locke?

Last night's episode was very interesting.....but now I have even more questions than before!

Obviously, the smoke monster/man in black does not actually need a body (as evidenced by Locke's still dead body on the island), but only a likeness???? So why was Christian's body missing from his coffin? And if Sayid is indeed Jacob resurrected, why does Jacob actually need the body? It would make sooo much more sense if Locke's body was missing also and the smoke monster/man in black actually inhabited the body. I am interested in seeing how that is explained bc it doesn't make any sense to me as it stands now. Like a pp mentioned, maybe Sayid is just Sayid and was saved for whatever reason.

I was hoping that we would get some hint about Claire bc after rewatching seasons 1-5 on hulu I realized that there hasn't even been a hint about her or what happened to her.

I am liking the split universe thing so far and am really curious to see how that story line continues. I wonder which one is real, or if they both are, and if they will ever converge again, or what...?

Did anyone catch Miles acting strange around Sayid's dead body? I wonder what he heard from him, it seems like he knows more about what happened than the rest of them.

All in all, very, very good. It will be hard to wait a whole wk for the next ep!

I did notice Miles acting strange around Syaids body, and he did the same thing around claire right before she disappeared.

Did anyone else notice Juliet was talking weird right before she told Sawyer she had something important to tell him? I am wondering if her body that was dying in THIS parrellel was begining to merge with the body in the other parellel. And maybe that is what Miles SEES and HEARS (like when he heard her say it worked), rather then dead people. He sees them in the parellel universe (as in it always exists) OK, my thoughts just got away from me, so that may not have made sense. lol

I was actually wondering if the Jacob that Hurely saw was ACTUALLY the smoke monster, once we realized that the smoke moster can take on the forms of dead people.

Anyone else notice the comment the smoke monster made to Richard about being in chains?

OH, and whats with the changes to the parrellel universe. Hurley says hes the luckiest guy alive (He always said he had the worst luck before the crash) Shannon was not on the plane with Boone, and DESMOND WAS ON THE PLANE? I mean WTF?!?!?! So I am starting to wonder if this alternate universe has NOTHING to do with the bomb. That it is there, and there are just some differences. Anyone remember that show Sliders with Jerry O'Connell? Everytime they went through a worm hole, they ended up in a parrellel universe that was just a little, or ALOT, different.

I wish every week was 2 hours long!

Yeah I was thinking the same thing about why the there were different people on the plane this time! And Hurley being different, etc. What's up with that??

I'm glad that Sawyer got a chance to say goodbye to Juliet. And I was yelling at the TV that Sayid better not be dead! I'm glad "he" woke up. I wonder if it's him. I bet it's Jacob.

All in all, I thought last night was good. Lots more questions...but that's why I love Lost!!

The smoke monster is not in John Locke.

When he knocked out Richard and put him over his shoulder he walked by Locke's body on the beach. He might be channeling Locke though, because Smokey knew what his dying thoughts were.

Side note: Locke seems to be keeping pretty well for being dead for weeks (? I'm kind of fuzzy on how much time he's actually been dead)

I missed the first 5 minutes so I must have missed Desmond on the plane.

I dont think that Sayid is Jacob since he woke up (came back to life) and didn't know what was going on.

Sayid = Jesus. They pretty much smacked us over the head with imagery there so I am surprised when I gasped when he resurrected. Anyway, I am not sure what that means for who Sayid is now, but I believe he is either still Sayid, but enlightened, or else he is Jacob. I do not think he could be the smoke monster, since I am under the impression that the beach scenes are simultaneously happening along with the temple scenes which means Smokey is on the beach. Besides, they are preparing the temple to keep Smokey out (ash and whatnot) and I think Smokey would not allow that to happen if he were there, since it would mean he's be trapped inside.

I am totally stuck on a heaven and hell them for Lost now.


We had the guy in WHITE vs the guy in BLACK.... I mean to mean that is screaming heaven and hell. They cannot touch one another unless one finds a loop hole, like having a person do dirty work. But only can get a person to do it by getting under his skin like sin. (My mind is wandering so I hope this makes sense)...They seemed to have battled as long as time...so maybe the people around them are angels stuck on earth....bodyguards for Jacob is how they described those three...angels???

I don't know why but it's screaming more after Sayid awoke, the whole Ankh (key to life), and then like i said the good vs. evil.

Yep, totally what I was thinking. And the Jesus resemblance w/ Sayid previously mentioned.

Also, this site has a pretty good (and funny) explanation for the alternate reality/dimension. They pointed out some things I didn't notice with the underwater sequence!

I'm stealing that site's new name for the new John Locke. Fake Locke = FLocke.

Per the Good/Evil, Heaven/Hell themes - last night my friend mentioned that Jacob & Smokey are not unlike Aziraphale & Crowley from Good Omens. Except I think Jacob & Smokey (LOVE "Flocke") don't get along as well.

Amazing season opener!! AND I take back everything I said about Juliet - her dying scene was so sad, and I wanted her to live and be happy with Sawyer! Soooo sad!

But it was awesome to see the temple! And I love the split timeline. I just can't wait to see how everything plays out.
