I am an engineer and work full-time outside of the home for a small, family friendly consulting firm that does energy and environment research, but I got to stay home with my daughter for her 1st year.
My motto that I quickly learned from my daughter is "Expectations lead to frustrations." I repeat this to myself anytime I get frustrated or impatient, and it adjusts my perspective and attitude.
