Will I be able to keep my supply when only nursing once a day?

DD is almost one. I'm looking forward to not pumping while at work 3 days a week and just nursing when I'm with her. She's a great eater of solids so I'm not worried about her. But, as far as I go, is it really o.k. to get down to once every 24 hours? (sometimes she's still sleeping when I leave in the morning and I only get to nurse her before bedtime. She's STTN for now. I try to squeeze in two sessions before bedtime if I can.)
Anyway, I haven't pumped yet today...last nursed at 7:30 last night. I'm not incredibly uncomfortable and am looking forward to getting home by 5 to nurse nurse nurse as much as possible.
But, really, is this going to work? I see no end in sight for our nursing relationship, which is what I want...but I'm a bit worried about supply. Thoughts?

I can't say based on experience, but I have heard of lots of people who just nurse when they are home from work. I would think, though, that a one year old would need more breastmilk... Is your LO getting formula while you work?

My youngest recently weaned (at about 21 months), but prior to weaning she had been nursing just once a day for about a month. My supply was still fine (I was producing less milk than when she nursed more frequently, but I still had milk whenever she wanted it). She did end up weaning, but I don't think that had anything to do with my supply - she had been decreasing her nursing for the last few months.

One thing we've done is add a nursing as soon as I get home. It's a nice way to reconnect. DS is generally awake in the AM, but I cut out that nursing in favor of the after-work one because nursing when I really need to be running around getting ready for work was NOT relaxing for either of us because I was always having to kick him off before he wanted to.
