How long did your LO's teething symptoms last before popping teeth?

Just curious....with ds #1 he started drooling/chewing everything around 4 months and got 1st tooth at 10 months....

ds #2 started at 3 1/2 months and still going strong as we approach the 6t month mark with nary a tooth in site.....

what do you do to offer relief?? teething tabs, etc....

It takes my daughter FOREVER to actually produce a tooth. Poor kid is in a constant state of teething grumpiness. We keep tons of cold carrots, apples and cucumbers on hand to help her out. Also, I rub warm and cold wash clothes on her gums. She really loves it.

Teething symptoms started around 4mo (drooling, biting, fussy) He JUST popped his first tooth at 9mo... And we've got a second one coming in right behind it.

I think it was around 3 months he started teething and his first tooth came in at 5 months. He's 8 months old now and has 4.

According to our ped, the drooling/chewing at 3 mos is a developmental milestone and typically unrelated to teething. That being said, my little guy seems to be cutting his tooth and he's 4 mos.

Hi I am new to the community ...I have the same question and concern my LO is 7 months and he has been drooling biting etc since about he was 3 months...no teeth in site...I asked the peds and she said your guess is as good as mine.....he is not into teething toys and rings, just loves his fingers and mine...so what else can i do to help hime till the little pearlys come?

Lots of moms on here like Hylands teething tabs. I just ordered an amber teething necklace yesterday to see if that helps....good luck!

DS started drooling, fussing, and chewing on everything when he was 3 months and has been off and on since then. He's almost 6 months now and still nothing. I have felt little bumps come and go. We use Hylands teething tablets when he is cranky with teething symptoms. He also wears an amber necklace. He will gum any toy we give him for relief. His bite has become a little too powerful for my fingers lol.
