Best Friends Forever - the new Jennifer Weiner book

Has anyone read Best Friends Forever, the new Jennifer Weiner book?

I adore Jennifer Weiner. I've read all her books but, I just can not get into this book. I was number 63 when I put it in my queue at the library and I was eagerly awaiting the book but, uggggg....... I'm about 1/4th of the way into the book and I just don't think I can go on.

Any other Jennifer Weiner fans struggling with her new book?

Hmmmm...really? I had been looking at it on Amazon, but maybe I'll take a pass. Despite being a fan of her work, I wasn't nuts about her last one, Certain Girls, either. (What happened to Candace in between the first and the second book?!?!) Bummer.

Yeah, I'd pass. It's a ridiculous plot, the guy one of the main characters falls for is sort of a creepy guy - I don't know. Maybe it would have turned around but, I ended up just turning it back into the library before even getting 1/2 way through. What a disappointment.

I love Jen but that book wasn't my favorite. I love reading her updates on facebook though.
