Have any great stories for me to share?

I don't know Waldorf, so this might not be what you're after, but Joseph Bruchac wrote a beautiful picture book called The Story of the Milky Way, which is a Cherokee origin story.

Bruchac is Native American (Abenaki) so the book is much less, um, culturally problematic than a lot of picture books about Native Americans.

I love this series: http://www.amazon.com/Born-Bang-Univ...ef=pd_sim_b_27

So good with great art work.

Also, The HSCS has an astronomy classroom:

Here's one we used and still enjoy. It has glitter pockets that the kids fill and decorate to help them learn the patterns - lovely artwork, and great, short stories.

It won't be one you do in a unit as it shows the constellations based on looking for about one each month - telling you exactly where to look on that particular month. Accurate enough that we actually found all of them that first year.

Oh! I forgot The Everything Seed, which is a really neat, and beautifully illustrated, book about the Big Bang.
