Tuesday I had an appointment and got a membrane sweep done. By the afternoon contractions started, and were 10 minutes apart by evening so we went in due to my past history of fast labors. Got checked and was about 3 cm, so walked around for a couple of hours till contractions were down to about a minute apart. Went to get checked again and things pretty much stopped...still at 3 cm. Since it was late at night and our kids were already settled (plus the fact that in the past once things started really happening they went quick), we decided to get a room and stay the night at the hospital. Good thing we did because at 3 AM Wed, my water broke, and 4 hours later, our little sweetie Marissa Evelyn was born. She has a good head of red hair, blue eyes, was 7 lb 4 oz, and 19.25 inches long. She is nursing well, and all of us love her bunches!
