Food Waste Digester

Has anyone used the "Green Cone" food waste digester? I'm not interested in making compost, but I would like to get rid of non-animal food scraps. I can buy from Metro at a discount a Green Cone Digester or a Green Machine. I'm leaning towards the digester, was wondering if anyone had any experience with it.

I have bought it and installed it. The thing is huge and was not fun trying to dig through my clay yard with a zillion rocks in it. But I did get it installed and when the weather warms up, I'll plant some hedge grasses and later on some flowers and you won't even see it. I'll let you know how it goes!
