Removing Smoke Smell

Thread Starter
Our wood stove has been having issues yesterday and today and it has resulted in our house being filled with smoke a couple times. I'm waiting until this storm passes so we can resolve the issue (don't exactly want DH climbing on the roof today!) but now our house smells like wood smoke. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but it's making me nauseous.

Any suggestions as to what I can do to get the smoky smell out? I can't open any upstairs windows (they are sealed up for the winter), I have aired it out as best I can with ceiling fans and open doors downstairs.
Thanks!

We had this problem last winter & walked around smelling like a campfire : ( Maybe try spritzing the air & furniture lightly w/vinegar. You could even add a little sented iol to help if you have one you love. Good luck ours didnt go away till spring.
