Safety of Magnetic Induction Cooktops?

There are many appealing characteristics of magnetic induction cooktops. I've always been a bit leery about them from the health perspective. Anything I've found online suggests their are no health pitfalls as exposure is similar to cell phones in level (thus inconclusive) and is a) further from your body than a cell phone and b) used for limited periods of time compared to some cell phone users.

Anyone have any further information about any health concerns of magnetic induction cooktops?

I like dr Mercola. It doesnt say too much, but I trust his opinion. Maybe this will help:

Well I don't have any science to back me up, but I am always leery of fancy technology that does in a more complicated way what can be done much more simply. So often the "better", newer way turns out to have unforeseen or unknown problems.

I admit though that I know nothing about induction cooking and I could be completely off base. Personally I just tend to stick with the lowest-tech solution when I can. I would love to have a woodstove!
