Crib mattress pads?

Does your crib have a mattress pad? Anyone use one of those nice wool ones, like a "SnugFleece"?

I've been tucking a baby afghan under the sheet and a cotton receiving blanket over the sheet to make her crib cushier. I may want to go with wool, or an organic pad, and I just can't find many reviews, especially the washable wool vs. non washable. (the thicker wool one with a cotton backing is dry clean only)

we don't. there are too many diaper explosions etc... to be washing one all the time. as it is i just take the sheet off and wipe down the mattress.
