Is anyone soooo ITCHY?

I am so itchy all the time. It's all over but especially my legs, back and chest. Has anyone else had this problem? It's driving me crazy and DH is getting sick of scratching me all the time!

My back is especially itchy. DH keeps asking me when I last showered, like that's the reason I'm all itchy! Not that it's itchy, but the skin on my face is so dry this time around. When I was pregnant with DH, once I got through the 1st trim acne bout, I think I remember a beautiful, glowy skin. This time around, I slather on the face lotion like it's going out of style. After washing my face, I have to put on at least two coats of face lotion. Glad it's not itchy on my face, though! ;-)

I remember my belly being really itchy last time I was pregnant, but I got a lot bigger a lot faster with DS, so I'm guessing that was the culprit.

Maybe you could get one of those long-handled scratcher things?? ;-)

I find the Aveeno lotion to work well for the itchiness!

You might want to mention the itchiness to you doc or midwife if it's really, really bad. They can prescribe something, or test for choleastis (sp?).

I find that the really annoying spots to scratch are itchy

Like my toes, or my elbows, or that spot in on my back I can't reach

YES! It drives me insane! The small of my back, right above my bum, is perpetually itchy. I'll have days where I feel like I'm going to scratch my boobs raw, and today it's my sides, right below my ribcage. I try to not dry my skin out and I've been putting baby oil and lotion on after showers, but it's still so annoying. I wouldn't consider it bad enough to talk to the Dr. about, but being itchy at all is such a pain. Oh, and I've gone through SO much facial moisturizer. As much as I complain about the humidity in the summer, I HATE how dry the winter is.

mama mio stretch mark oil is the best thing ever!!! I was discovered it during my 1st pregnancy and am obsessed! It smells good, is made of amazing natural oils, absorbs really nicely, and best of all keeps the itch and stretch marks away I slather it on after I shower
