Full Moon!!

Thread Starter
I'm 40+4 and hoping the full moon this weekend helps us meet this lo. DH guessed Jan 30th because of the full moon.

Anyone else hoping to deliver this weekend?

I keep thinking the 31st. Sunday. Husband thinks Feb 2nd because he swears he knows EXACTLY when he MADE it happen. May 11th. He has said this from the beginning.

I am really really hoping for this weekend. Already 41+3 here, so waiting until February is a daunting prospect.

So is that counting the days since May 11? How many days is a pregnancy supposed to be? I had guessed May 14 for conception ..

I've been wondering if the full moon will do it for me, too .. I have a cold though, so it would be better if I get over it first.

Months ago I noticed Jan 30 was a full moon and had thoughts of going then. But I'll "only" be 40+3 then and that still seems a bit early. I've been feeling Feb 2nd ever since.

Then I found out my midwife's 10th anniversary with her husband is on the 30th and they're planning a little getaway, nothing where I wouldn't be able to reach her if I needed her though, I'd just feel bad!

Feb DDC, here I come!

ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME!!!

While I 2/2 as a birthdate, that is also my second son's bday.

I would really prefer a January baby though...like I have anything to do with it. If this one comes is Jan., I'll have a Dec., Jan. & Feb. baby--MUCH easier on the wallet

I am thinking this weekend might be it - even though we just realized yesterday that it is a full moon tomorrow! Actually that makes me believing it even more
I have been having contractions since Wednesday night. It slowed down during the day yesterday but sure enough I started having contractions last night and all night again. They felt much stronger and I don't think they will slow down again. I would have much more preferred having them during the day and rest at night though. For some reason it seems to be easier on me to have pain when it is light outside rather when it is dark.

Good Luck to all of you!

It makes it easier for me to budget for separate birthday months. We are starting the DR program, so monthly deposits for birthdays is easier for us...we start saving after their respective bday month for their next birthday. It really is just taking what we would spend & dividing it by 12 months instead of coming up with the cash for everything at the last minute.

Would love a full moon baby! That way if she is hairy (like a little werewolf) I will have an excuse! May have another cervical sweep tomorrow morning, MWs won't do a really big one because her head isn't fully engaged yet, but even a lite one may help. Something feels nice about giving birth on the weekend too.

As long as it's before the Olympics (and all the related craziness in my hometown).
