I came on to read the Salinger thread, but one hadn't been started, so here we go.
It's sad when anyone dies, but to die in your sleep at 92 is a pretty good way to go. As one of my facebook friends commented, it's hard to figure out how to mourn the man who wrote, "People coming and putting a bunch of flowers on your stomach on Sunday, and all that crap. Who wants flowers when you're dead? Nobody."
I hear that he left some works to be published posthumously. I'll be very excited to check that out.
