Advice, plz!

I'm taking Eng comp this semester and I'm having a really hard time with writing assignments. For example, our reading log this week is on 4 poems our porfessor wants us to respond to and I'm just pulling a blank. Do any of you out there have any good resources to share? I've thought about going down & getting some tutoring, as well, and I may still look into that, but any further help would be reatly appreciated. :-)

There's typically free tutoring on campus. That's a great resource and I would totally check that out. Also, go to your professor's office hours -- tell him you're having problems with the assignment and ask for more guidance. Do it as soon as you start feeling behind so you don't get underwater.

Which poems? What was the assignment, exactly? Maybe some of us can you get you started - "talking" a poem through can really help.
