Best ring sling?

Thread Starter
I'm due with my second in about a month and need an easy to use carrier around the house. It needs to be easy to use (I have a moby from my first dd, but could never figure out how to use it) and easy to nurse in, while playing with dd.

Thanks!

There are lots of excellent ring slings on the market -- some of my favorites are Maya Wrap, Sleeping Baby, and Sakura Bloom, which are all great but range the gamut in price. A ring sling is good for nursing as it's easily adjustable. Check out the Babywearing Safety Facebook page in my signature for lots of pictures of good newborn positioning in ring slings!

Well...think about fabric....for example...

Cotton is nice
Silk is very warm! (great for winter)
Linen is very cool! (great for summer)

So - now you will that part about it narrowed down at least! lol

Then think about price... What are you willing to spend?

Perhaps you fancy one (like say - a Sakura Bloom) - but can not spend that amount on a sling....would you be happy with a used one? You can try out 'thebabywearer.com' for a used one - get a bargain then!

Another important one for me is the shoulder. RS can vary a lot in shoulder style. I really like the comfy joey hybrid shoulder. I like SBs shoulder. For me - shoulders just need to be gathered. But someone with wide shoulders may find that a bit uncomfortable for example? (so - shoulder is another one to think about).

I am never good at just picking one... I am currently trying to convince myself why I need a 5th wrap (besides that 'I just want it') lmao

I prefer a linen sakura bloom (or DIY version). Second choice would be the Maya Wrap.
