I have what looks like a massively swollen montgomery gland next to my left nip - it's about 1/3 the size of the nipple itself and looks like the hugest whitehead pimple ever. It doesn't hurt much, but it does seem to make DS's latch funny b/c I have like a double-nipple thing going on almost right there. It looks like it's ready to burst on it's own, frankly I'm amazed it hasn't ruptured from nursing. Should I be worried? I have been tempted to pop it, but I have no insurance and my luck it would get infected and adversely affect my ability to nurse on that side only 1 week before I return to work.
