Student of the Month!

I'm just bursting with pride for my little guy! When I went to pick up DS1 from school today his teacher and classroom aide were so excited (as was DS1) and they told him to show me what he had in his hand and it was a certificate stating that he was the Student of the Month! He won it for working hard at his seatwork and for trying new things! Considering his diagnoses are ADHD, SPD and significant anxiety those are pretty huge accomplishments.

Apparently he had to go up onto the stage in the gym in front of the whole school and then sit beside his teacher and he did great! Wow! I am so thrilled for him and how hard he is trying to do well at school.

Thanks for letting me brag folks - most people would say "big deal" but I know you guys get it.
