I am blessed

Just writing to say how happy I am. After weeks of pain and doubt, I have been exclusively breast feeding my almost 4 month old boy. Now his scrawny legs have filled out, and although not really chubby, his elbows have the cutest dimples! I am so proud. I started working 2 days out of the house and manage to pump 8-10 oz. over the day and all from one breast only! I am seriously lop-sided. But have never taken domperidone or any other medication. I even stopped mother's milk tea weeks ago. My angel boy takes Dr. Browns bottle happily on those 2 days.

When the baby was 3 weeks old, a friend told me that one day the nipple pain would go away and I wouldn't need nipple cream anymore and I looked at her and thought, "Yeah, right.." And now it really is true!

I thank Jesus for blessing me so much. I have a beautiful and easy baby and hope to ebf for 6 months and bf for many more after. I am grateful for these forums because the posts really encouraged me when I needed help and guidance.

Hooray for you and your baby!
My son is three months old, and it took us a good month and a half to get to the point where feeding him started to feel easy. Now it's very smooth, and it feels great to know that we're working together so well as a pair
Hooray for happy Mamas and babies!

Great job mama!
It took me a good month when I suddenly realized yeah, maybe the worst part is over and we can get this to work. Now DD is a healthy 14 mo still nursing beautifully!
