I can tell my toddler is turning 2!

So the other night, DS was trying to put his hand down my shirt to twiddle... which I am trying to discourage. We were in bed and I rolled on to my tummy and said, "no. that hurts." Well DS started crying and said, "MINE! MINE!" So I responded, "No, they're my boobies. Mommy's boobies." To whicc DS started crying "my boobies! my boobies!" I nearly laughed out loud!

This morning at breakfast, we had given DS a small cup of juice. He pushed it out of his reach... a few minutes later, he remembered his cup and started saying "more milk please. more milk please." To which DH replied, "okay, I'll get you some milk." And he got up, took the cup and started to get some milk. DS promptly started screaming "NO! JUICE! JUICE!" So I asked, "do you want juice or milk?" DS's reply "water."

is this what life with a two year old is like?

Ummm yes.
This stage of childhood is filled with indecision and frustration due to things not seeming fair.
My preschooler has been reverting. It's LOTS of fun having a real toddler and a toddler wannabe - nobody can decide on anything and I'm an awful mother because I can't read their minds!
