My dd is 14 months and we know she has a dairy allergy because she breaks out in hives when she has dairy products. the dr thinks it is likely she will outgrow it and the last time she had dairy was when she was 9 months.
I never gave up dairy completely, although i did limit it, because it didn't seem to affect her. i finally decided to give it up to see if it may be contributing to sleep issues.
I've been off for 2 1/2 weeks and there is no obvious change.
If we know for sure that she is allergic to dairy, is it even possible that the dairy I'm eating is NOT affecting her? Or would she definitely have some sort of reaction to it, even if it's not obvious?
