If you sidecar and BF...

...when your LO wakes at night, do you pull the baby toward you onto your bed and then scoot him/her back once asleep, or do you scoot *yourself* over to the "crack" between your two mattresses and feed LO while she's still on her own mattress and you're on yours? KWIM?

We've been pulling to me, feeding, and attempting to "scoot" back, so just wondering what others do.

She kind of scoots over to me then rolls away when she's done. She rarely nurses in the middle of the night though, this is just the early am, like 6 or so.

When she was younger she never left my side. She'd nurse, then unlatch and use my boob as a pillow (I have G cups so they're quite pillowy)

I sit up in bed with the boppy, pick the baby up, unswaddle him, feed him, rock him upright for 10 min and then reswaddle & put him down. Takes between 20-30 min, usually. But he doesn't like to eat lying down--it makes him spit up.

Depends on the night. Sometimes she scoots over to me and sometimes I just roll towards her.
