Here we go (I hope)

41 wks tomorrow....I've been doing natural induction methods....looks like things have really picked up this evening since DH and I DTD

Going to start timing them and put the mw's on alert - I wonder if some of the others moms are birthing tonight too because of the full moon.

I'm really ready....I sure hope this isn't a false start.

Anyone else think tonight is the night?

Oh man, I can only hope! I am going to start a thread about castor oil because I am debating using it or not?

I think the moon is doing something to me, but not sure if it has to do with actually having a baby.

I was reading that the moon has long been said to cause strange behavior in animals and people. THings like heart attacks, mental issues, birth, all these other weird things. Maybe that is what is going on with me. Just causing some mental issues.

I will be 41 weeks tomorrow too and I wanted to have my baby tomorrow. Well, unless its a huge rapid surprise of a delivery I'm not so sure its going to happen. Still just having the mild ctx's I've been having for about a week and a half now. They are not painful, but they do cause pressure. Feeling more crampy lately though.

I am hoping that I will get that one real BIG contraction in the middle of the night that wakes me up like other moms get. My past two labors were never like that. They just start real gradual like and slowly get stronger. Just like the contractions I've BEEN HAVING, except these have NOT gotten stronger or have that sting to them. Where is that? Makes me wonder if I NEED to do something to get me over the hump. Castor oil? Membrane sweep?

While it would be nice to go into labor tonight, I doubt it is going to happen. I have absolutely NO signs of labor at all. I think I will have a Feb. baby....

I did the castor oil, 3 times over the last couple of weeks, the last this morning. I really didn't think it was that bad, just stay close to the bathroom.

I have also been using black cohosh yesterday and today - midwives wouldn't 'recommend' any induction methods for me because I'm a VBAC - but I tried anyway.

It's funny the midwives were kinda skeptical of most of the natural induction methods but BIG believers in the full moon!

Good luck mamas! I hope the full moon sends you all into labour so you'll be holding your little one's very soon!
