DD's are huge and seem to have gotten bigger over the past several months. Its to the point that she mouth breaths most of the time, snores quite a bit, and I'm begining to suspect sleep apnea.

I'm going to take her to the doctor where I image the will send us back to the ENT for evaluation of tonsilectomy and adenoidectomy, as well as a sleep study.

I realize that's the most likely route, but just wondering whether I have other options? What causes tonsils to swell and is there some way to help them shrink? FWIW, we had her tested for IgG food sensitivities and she's been off all positive foods since the begining of the year.
