quickly while she's napping...
I have a Pikkolo and like it a lot. Okay, well, for the first few/early months I LOVED it because DD really wanted her legs out. She's a big girl, so I think I would love it more now if I had the waist support belt.
She can see out easier in the Pikkolo than in our Ergo Sport.
The crossed straps in the back made me develop some babywearing muscles, i.e. it hurt a first until I started standing up straight and got the muscles needed to wear a baby with good posture. (That said, I have a back low back, so this might not be an issue for normal people.)
Mine is the "cloud" pattern and it's much prettier than my Ergo Sport. DH will wear it, though, because it's not too flowery.
The fabric seems really well stitched, well made. It's basically a mei tai with buckles. OH...buckles! The two-way adjust is really nice. I had to read the directions like 10 times to get what they were saying (new mama brain in effect) but it's very cool that tugging one way lifts the baby UP higher on your chest, while tightening the other way brings the baby closer to your body. I wish my Ergo did this.
I bought mine from Quirky Baby, and will probably go back for the waist support belt, so I can get more use out of my Pikkolo.
sorry if this sounds all over the place...she's actually napping by herself so I am giddy with new found freedom.
