one of my favorites, from Jeremiah too:

Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. They shall be like a tree planted by the water, sending out its roots by the stream. It shall not fear when heat comes, and its leave shall stay green. In the year of the drought it is not anxious, and it does not cease to bear fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8

Fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

I'm in! DH and I are TTC #1 and have been since Oct-Nov 08. Praying that we be open to God's will, whether that includes a child or not.
i'm in too. i thank God everyday for bringing my husband into my life. at my darkest hour, i prayed for help, and God answered with my dh, i have no doubt of that. my dh has no children of his own, although he loves mine with all his heart, and they adore him as well. it would be wonderful if we could have one together. we shall see. i know, oh boy do i know, that sometimes what is meant to be is not what you want at the time, so whatever happens, i am thankful for so many blessings. but i hope it happens!

karmab~how many children do you already have, or do you want me to put you under TTC #1?
Name: Tabitha
Age: 36
TTC #: 5

Thoughts: My situation is a little unique in that this is going to be my only month TTC in the traditional way until Sept/Oct because my DH is deployed. He will be home for two weeks around the second half of February (and I'm pretty sure I'll O sometime between the 25-27 of Feb). We may be banking sperm for IUI while he's here in Feb because of my age and his likelihood of future infertility. DH had a vas, then a vas reversal this past June, and his urologist said that he has about a 5 year window of fertility.

Verse, Quote or Sentiment that Has Helped Keep You Positive This Week: The Lord has blessed me with wonderful fertility in the past. I suffered three back to back m/cs in 2009, and I believe that the reason for the m/cs is that He wants me to fully appreciate the beautiful family I already have. If I am blessed enough to have more children, I will give all of the glory to God because it is His will that opens my womb, not mine.

CD: 24?
DPO (if applicable): 4....shouldn't it be 14?? It seems like it's been FOREVER!
Testing: 14 DPO...yeah right. I'm lucky if I make it to 12...
Trying Since: Wanting to try since May '09..ovulating since Nov '09 (first PPAF came 7 days later).
Plan for this Cycle: Leave it in God's hands and DON'T stress!!!
Link to Chart (if applicable): Don't have one.
Thoughts: I love my crazy little man who is at this moment standing on the computer!
Verse, Quote or Sentiment that Has Helped Keep You Positive This Week: Knowing that God bottles our tears and that He's completing a work in us while we wait that is beautiful and part of His plan. "All things work together for good..."

Oh! And I had my friend's darling little girl pray for me. She's quite the little minister! I asked her to pray that I'd have a baby girl as beautiful as she is. She touched my stomach, looked straight into my eyes and asked "You have two babies?" She's the second person to feel that while praying over me.....we'll see!!!

Hope everyone has a blessed week!!!

Count me in too! Please put me in the TTC #2(or more) category
Here's my wknd wrap up info:

Name: Erin
Age: 34
TTC: #2
CD: 51 (I have really long cycles..and pretty sure this one is anovulatory so far)
Trying Since: trying while charting since November, but that has only worked out to 2 cycles for me, and I think they were both anov : (
Plan for this cycle: Right now I'm just waiting it out and hoping next time I will O. I am also taking Maca, which has improved my energy level alot but so far still no O. Just started it a few weeks ago, so maybe it will start kicking in. These long cycles are discouraging but I am trying to focus more on trusting the Lord and knowing he has the perfect plan and timing for all things.

Positive verse "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart" Psalms 37:4

Name: Samantha
Age: 24
TTC #: 1
CD: 25
DPO (if applicable): N/A
Testing: Not unless LP (if I ovulate) is 18 or more days.
Trying Since: September 2009
Plan for this Cycle: Starting Maca, relaxing, no more OPKs this cycle!
Link to Chart (if applicable):
Thoughts: Hoping this isn't an annovulatory cycle...CD 25 and all my O signs have disappreared. Temp shot down this morning. Hoping for a spike tomorrow morning. I need to find a church. My pastor does Bible study, but we don't have a church building and I miss it terribly. I need something more in my life. I was going to go this morning, but then DH informed me I wouldn't have enough gas to get to work AND to church. So I'll try again next week!

Hi, I am wanting and waiting at the moment, but have to visit here for encouragement.
I was wondering why the urologist said your DH had a 5 year window?
My DH had his vas reversed and we are dealing with sperm issues as well as endo. But no one said anything about a fertile window, so I am curious.

May the Lord bless you with a little bundle this month.

The urologist told us that he assumes a 5 year window with each patient because scar tissue from having two procedures (vas and reversal) tends to grow into the vas deferens sometime around that mark. Some patients never have any issues with scar tissue, but the urologist told us we shouldn't assume that we won't have them.

Hope that helps, and God Bless you as you contemplate adding to your family.

KBL7~I just did some quick research on the fertile window after a vasectomy reversal and all I could really come up with was that it is different with every doctor, within every clinic within every part of the nation. I know that's not much help. Maybe you could put a call into your husband's urologist's office and ask if they can give you some answers? It seems if one doctor is saying it, he had to have gotten it somewhere! GL and for you!

Hi ladies! I'm back! We *thought* we weren't going to TTC until this Aug...but we changed our minds! LOL We want a baby. And I'm a little confused by my body...I hate to complain...I'm just blank and don't know what to think. I won't go into the details, but I *might* have had IB...which I've never had before and it's so improbable that we DID get pg this cycle. I posted in The ONE thread...
