This is certainly true.

I actually accepted some vaccinations for nursing school that I would never allow my daughter to receive. But I am a young adult (26) at the peak of my health & immune response, who has for decades contracted and fought down sicknesses, and can closely monitor my own well being and any "slight" reactions to what I put in my body.

My daughter has a brand new system that needs to develop according to how it was designed, without our bumbling interference, and cannot regulate her own well being, or communicate effectively to tell me how things effect her.

My ex is not vaxed and he never really ever been sick that much and he hardly ever sees a doctor.

I wasn't vaccinated until I was going to college at 17 and at that point I only had the minimal vaccines required (I don't know why my parents didn't fight harder to keep the exemption - it might have had something to do with their divorce and stupid issues like that though). But I developed asthma shortly after that, which I am convinced is related. I also wound up with chicken pox (which my mom tried to get me to catch as a child but I never did....) as an adult and was extremely sick and wound up hospitalized for. All this was post vaccine. While I can prove a causal link, the correlation is pretty high in my eyes.
